Barney comes from lovely UK Ch Yardican Diamond Drops first litter, and we are very grateful that Meri and Margo let him come to us.

Barney needed some time to develop, but we started campaigning him actively in 2008 and he was top winning Cardigan in Norway that year. Because of Ingrids judges education he has been shown sparingly since then, buit he was best male at the Norwegian spesialty in 2009 and second best male at the record large entry in 2010.

He has sired several litters both in Norway and abroad, and we have been very happy with his offspring. CC winners in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany - several group and one BIS winning puppy!

In Barneys litter with Int Ch All Trade Minnie The Moocher we all got quite a surprise when two brown puppies appeared! This is a recessive gene which also leads to brown nose & eye pigment, and is a disqualifying fault for the show ring. But since Barney has left us such lovely offspring with several different bitches, we consider this a fault that is easy to forgive.

Barney does not carry the fluffy gene.
